Asimov is right
Tuesday, September 29, 2009if we feel inconvenienced by this natural calamity which lounged on our weekend, something that will last a week to a few months,–think about the discomfort of living like this in permanence. This is a morsel of the inconvenient truth, people. As Asimov predicted, soon the skyscrapers of Manhattan will be submerged in water…& what of this archipelago? Poof. Nada. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Or better yet, defy it. But then again, pessimist that I am I’ve surrendered to the fact that it’s too late. We did the damage; we all knew it would come to this we were just stubborn homo sapiens thinking let the next brood worry about that.
And now here we are.
Here we are.
And soon. . . We WERE here.
About the Author
The blogger, female, has recently discovered that she could not be a disciple-to-no one.
Notice the transition from morose to pathetically smitten.
Give her a break. We all falter.
The lucky ones, happily so.
